Summer is flying by and it
won’t be any time until the children are back in school. Our
normal routines of life usually go out the window when summer
hits. We get so busy with all the running and gardening
and......well the list just goes on and on. What we don’t want
to get out of routine, is our service to the Lord. We want to
encourage you to be sure, when you are on vacation, to visit one
of our sister churches in the area where you are traveling. You
can contact the office for names, addresses and phone numbers of
those churches.
We were very excited about
the response to our ministry committees sign up. We had fourteen
different families sign up to take part in the work of the
Kingdom. Those committees will be meeting and making plans as to
how Silver Creek Christian Church can be more effective in
reaching the lost. If you have not signed up, and would like to
serve on one of the committees, it is not too late. Just let us
know and we will help you get connected. The committees include:
Worship, Education, Fellowship, Youth, Shepherding, and
Outreach.
